Happy 4th of July!

"Another visit to Mesa?" you may be asking... well, yes. How can we not when we have these little munchkins so far away?

This is the cape Mom made for Lissa. Addi got one too- you can see her wearing it in the video. Now, Lissa can save her stuffed animals in proper uniform.

Little patriotic bugs...

This pic was moments before we were exposed to the 100 degree heat while watching the fireworks at 9:00 at night. I could have baked a cookie on my head.

The cute little Nelson family.

Lis and Uncle Dan.

Watching the fireworks so intently...
"Ooooohhhhh... Ahhhhhhh"
I love that Kelly is looking at her watch.

Nothing beats the last picture in the quadrant. Yes, I said quadrant.
The couples...

When we weren't baking ourselves, we were playing fun games like Hulabaloo and Horton Hears a Who...

During one of the games, Kelly tried to get all fancy and stand on her head. Things didn't turn out as planned when she tried to get up and pulled out a huge chunk of hair with her knee.

My favorite "I am so excited I can't contain myself" pose.

Lissa was devastated when we had to leave...

Not even a pep talk from Dan could help...

I think I see a half smile in this pic...

August can't come soon enough!!

I'm loving the little peeks of baby bump in the pictures! Let me know when you are going to have a baby shower. I would love to have the excuse to drive out there and see you live in person(s).

I agree with Caitlin - so many emotions! Beautiful girls! Handsome boys! The capes are great - what little heroes! I think I laughed the hardest at Kelly's elephant mask. The videos and pictures make me feel like I was there too. Thanks for blogging!

That was so fun! When are you coming next?

Why didn't you wear the elephant mask? Maybe next time.

And, I'm still mad about my favorite part in Confessions of a Shopaholic skipping.

We'll be in Cali in 5 weeks!

Tracy and Dan,
Thanks for coming. We always look forward to your visits. We turned the air down so much that our air conditioning unit is smoking now. Thanks. I promise if you come again I will make the exact same hamburgers except I will cook them a little longer with less meat. I'm so glad Caitlin didn't come. I want to slap her sometimes...I probably would have made her sleep outside in the heat with a down sleeping bag then surrounded her with prickly pear cactus and scorpions in the middle of the night. Actually, please tell her to come and visit.
Thanks again. Can't wait to come in August!
